CEDAR RAPIDS – Cornell junior Alex Coolidge kept his title hopes alive with a pair of overtime wins during Day 1 of the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships Friday at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena.

MOUNT VERNON – The brackets are set for 180 wrestlers as they take aim at individual gold this weekend at the 2013 NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships, held for the first time in the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena.

DUBUQUE – Junior Alex Coolidge captured the 197-pound crown and freshman runner-up Trevor Engle (149) also secured an NCAA berth to lead the Rams at the NCAA Division III Central Region Wrestling Championships Saturday at the Five Flags Center.

 MOUNT VERNON – A key win by 197-pounder Alex Coolidge gave Cornell's wrestling team a chance, but No. 22 Luther prevailed in the heavyweight bout to secure the meet, 22-15, Monday night in the Small Multi-Sport Center.
