Schlabaugh to present at USA Basketball event

MOUNT VERNON – Cornell College first-year head men's basketball coach Dave Schlabaugh is among the scheduled presenters for the USA Basketball Sioux Falls Coach Academy, sponsored by Nike, on June 24-25 at Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D.

The $185 academy registration includes on and off court presentations, Nike/USA Basketball gift items, catered meals, a USA Basketball memorabilia viewing, roundtable discussions and networking time. Registration and more information is available at USA Basketball Coach Academy.

Schlabaugh will join an accomplished group of coach presenters that includes Don Showalter (USA Basketball), Jennie Baranczyk (Drake University), Tom Billeter (Augustana University), Brian Jones (University of North Dakota), Howard Moore (University of Wisconsin), Michael Neighbors (University of Arkansas), Steve Prohm (Iowa State University) and Pat Sullivan.

Schlabaugh was hired in May to lead Cornell's men's basketball program after serving as the Rams' top assistant in 2016-17. He carries more than 30 years of coaching experience at the collegiate and high school levels.
