MOUNT VERNON – Cornell's career scoring leader Sydney Cooper (JR/Morton, Ill.) has been named Academic All-Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference for the third straight year, heading a group of seven Rams on the 2017 academic team.

Cornell's Lexi Dettbarn (SO/Monona, Iowa) gained all-academic honors for the second season in a row. Kayla Boyd (JR/Colorado Springs, Colo.), Christy Ralston (SO/Savanna, Ill.), Brittney Starks (FR/Steamboat Springs, Colo.), Caitlyn St. Marie (JR/Minooka, Ill.) and Vaughn Zittle (SO/Washington, D.C.) earned the distinction for the first time.
