MOUNT VERNON – Due to poor field conditions at opposing sites, Cornell will play its first home baseball games earlier than expected as three upcoming dates have been moved to Ash Park Field.

The Rams host Loras at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, in a single nine-inning game that was originally scheduled for April 23 in Dubuque.

Cornell welcomes UW-Platteville to town for a single game at 12 p.m. Saturday, March 29. That contest was initially slated for March 27 in Platteville, Wis.

Cornell then plays host to Macalester in a doubleheader at 12 p.m. Sunday, March 30. The two games were to be played in St. Paul, Minn.

The Rams were scheduled to open their home season April 6 with a Midwest Conference doubleheader against Knox.

The Rams enter the home stretch with a 6-4 record. Cornell has won three straight games, and four of its last five.
